Who set up 1in5?

The 1 in 5 website was put together by academics at several UK universities including Cardiff, Bristol, Birkbeck and Manchester.

Everyone contributes their time as volunteers and we are all active in teaching and research.

1 in 5 currently receives no funding and is not linked to any other initiatives. We are simply hoping to spread an idea that we believe could make a difference.
